Please Pass An Animal Cruelty Ordinance Banning "Big Lick" Tennessee Walking Horses

Please Pass An Animal Cruelty Ordinance Banning "Big Lick" Tennessee Walking Horses
The Issue
Panama City Beach is a beautiful destination tourist resort on the Gulf of Mexico. It is the "Home of the World's Most Beautiful Beaches".
On April 21-23, 2016, Panama City Beach hosted a "Big Lick" Tennessee Walking Horse Show at its City Park. At this horse show, USDA Vets disqualified 40% of the "Big Lick" Tennessee Walking Horses (wearing heavy stack shoes & chains) due to Horse Protection Act Violations (Animal Cruelty).
Animal Cruelty has no place in a destination tourist resort such as Panama City Beach, Florida. Right now, Panama City Beach is America's Face of "Big Lick" Animal Cruelty.
Please ask newly elected Mayor Mike Thomas, Vice Mayor Ms. Josie Strange. Mr. John Riechard, Mr. Phil Chester and Mr. Hector Solis to please listen to America and the World, and please support an Amendment to the PCB Animal Cruelty statute and ban "Big Lick" Tennessee Walking Horses from City property in the future.
18 of 27 Florida U. S. Representatives have publicly endorsed federal legislation to outlaw the heavy stack shoes and chains on Tennessee Walking Horses because it is Animal Cruelty.
America and the World will applaud the municipality of Panama City Beach, Florida if it takes this progress step to ensure the welfare of animals who cannot speak for themselves.
