Over the course of many years, power lines being in close proximity to homes was never seen as a potential health risk. However, as the years progressed, more and more evidence is coming up that they may carry potential dangers with them, but there hasn’t been enough research to fully support that fact. Thus, I wanted to find if people were aware of the potential dangers or would they even care if it was proven to be true.

I am currently working on a website in order to help spread more awareness and information about power lines to the general public. Through this petition, I hope to encourage the government to bury power lines that are close to generally populated areas underground and to do further research to see if there are indeed potential health risks.
