Help Stop Levan Sanadze From Being Deported

My husband Levan Sanadze is now facing deportation after being in Canada for almost 4 years. His refugee claim was denied by Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) despite appealing. Now Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) have a removal order against him and have told him to leave the country by March 31, 2020. We currently have a Spousal Sponsorship in process since June 2019, have been married for almost a year and have a beautiful 4 month old daughter together.

Levan is a hard working man who pays taxes and has 2 jobs; one as a contracted worker doing restoration work on buildings and the other, driving for Uber. He is an amazing involved father and supportive husband despite working upwards of 70+ hours a week.

I am creating this petition to help draw attention to our case in the hopes that the our Member of Parliament, Kate Young and our Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, Marco Mendicino can work with the IRCC to expedite a decision on our sponsorship application. If not that, then to have CBSA give us an extension to allow our application to go through.

Please help our family fight this unjust deportation. Staying in Canada as a single mother or giving everything we have up here and going to Georgia with my husband and 4 month old daughter are the choices I face. As a Canadian born citizen I shouldn’t have to choose.
