It's important because I think Emma Stone is the perfect fit for Mary Jane Watson. They must use Emma Stone as Mary Jane. I can't picture anyone else doing it.  Then they can keep referencing how Mary Jane "reminds him a lot of Gwen" because they'll be the same person. Wouldn't that be funny?
