Ban Lasers at Disco Biscuits Concerts

Ban Lasers at Disco Biscuits Concerts
The Issue
The Disco Biscuits light show as been taken over by a painful eye crippling virus called "lasers".
Despite repeated warnings from experts and doctors, some fans cannot help themselves from looking directly into these lasers at Disco Biscuits concerts. Sometimes it's unavoidable because the band's light guru, Johnny B Goode, doesn't stop for 3 hours straight with these f*#ckers. Even if you only peeked at these lasers for a second, you can still do major damage to your retina that might not show up until the encore of the last night. Many people are wondering if it’s possible to reverse eye damage caused by Disco Biscuits light shows, and the truth is, you can’t really.
The main risk of eye damage from Disco Biscuits concerts is a condition called bisco retinopathy, where bright light kills cells in the retina, leading to blurry vision or a potential blind spot (though not necessarily total blindness). “The cells of the retina are not designed to handle the light intensity that comes from staring at lasers during a Basis peak or even during a Very Moon intro,” Morris Mulberry, president of the U.S. Optometric Association, told Phantasy Tour. Because the retina doesn’t have any pain receptors, you'll be forced to call on the doctor to figure out the extent of the damage, and what exactly you can do to fix it.
In Asheville next week a support group called "Blinded Boomshankers" will be setting up a table next to the Digital Buddhas to spread awareness. Please stop by and show your support. "With the right amount of effort and fan involvement we hope to put an end to the atrocity that is now the Disco Biscuits light show", said Shelby Rose CEO of Blinded Boomshankers.
