A third "Marc & the Mambas" album petition

The Issue

Due to the great success of the recent "Torment & Toreros" show performed in London the day 9th of August 2012 at the Royal Festival Hall of the Southbank Centre as part of the "Meltdown Festival" hosted by Antony Hegarty, having Marc Almond reunited most of the Mambas original line up members for that night, which are:

the string section, violinists Gini Ball, Anne Stephenson, cellist Martin McCarrick, collectively knew as "The Venomettes" and the guitarist Lee Jenkinson.

Including the participation and musical direction of who originally contributed to the production of the album "Torment & Toreros", the singer, composer, and record producer James Thirlwell aka "Clint Ruin" (Foetus, Manorexia, Steroid Maximus, etc), a pioneer of Industrial music, who helped to give shape to this concert in the musical atmosphere of songs like "Mamba", "Your Love is a Lesion", "A Million Manias/Slut" and "Beat out that Rhythm on a Drum", etc.

With the absence of the original line up members, the pianist Anni Hogan, the double bassist Billy McGee (The Venomettes member) and the flautist/saxophonist Steve Sherlock but with the participation of 21 musicians who backed Marc Almond during three exhausting hours of madness (Including Kimberlee McCarrick, Martin Watkins, Neal Withmore and Antony Hegarty).

In a show that wouldn't have been possible without the input of James Thirlwell, Martin McCarrick and organization of Neal Whitmore, this is the first time that Marc Almond and James Thirlwell worked together since 1984.

"Torment & Toreros" is the second album released under the name "Marc & the Mambas", recorded between January and May of 1983 at Trident Studios and developed by the record producer and audio engineer Mark Ellis aka "Flood", the album reached #28 in the UK album charts in August of the same year, 29 years later the album is performed live as "Marc Almond", but obviously having involved most of the original line up members most fans may have felt it was a reunion, Marc Almond always wanted to perform the album live for his fans but he never found the appropriate context until now, a concert that didn't needed to imitate the atmosphere of the "Three Black Nights of Little Black Bites" concerts from April 1983 as it already had his own atmosphere created by the original members and guest musicians who joined efforts to make this happen.

For almost 30 years Marc Almond fans have been expecting the release of the live tape at one of the "Three Black Nights of Little Black Bites" concert from April 1983 since first announced to be released for 1984, it never came to surface due to technical issues with audio and image, the project to save the tape with today technology was retook by Katherine Rhodes, the tape was ready to be released in CD/DVD this year but Marc Almond decided to cancel the release temporarily, then fans never expected to watch "Marc & the Mambas" technically reformed for one night to play such masterpieces again since 1983, unsure about if the "Torment & Toreros" August 2012 concert will be released in CD/DVD as has been reported that three professional cameras were filming the night, fans are still expecting the CD/DVD of the "Three Black Nights" April 1983 to be released too along with the new concert footage if that's the case, for those who couldn't attend to these special nights and those who attended and want to relive the moment.

Fans would like this not to remain in just one night of music and they will be pleased to see something new to come out from this, so that's why as the passionated Marc Almond and the Mambas fan you are we invite you to sign this petition for a third Mambas album of brand new tracks developed under the production of James Thirlwell and the involvement of the musicians who made part of this significant moment in Marc Almond musical career and their own musical careers too, the decision and last word will be entirely up to Marc Almond if there's no any kind of issues and all the musicians involved are willing to be locked in a studio creating new musical pieces and lyrics to go ahead with the project.

With no more to make reference to, thank you a lot for the attention.
