In a recent news paper article it was stated the students will no longer be allowed to carry backpacks, purses, etc. with them throughout the school day.  This is an action that many students are against and will have a difficult time adjusting to.  Students carry backpacks with them at many other schools (often larger) and these schools do not have this ban put in place.  We are trying to end the Marathon High Backpack Ban.  Please sign to contribute to this effort.  Thank you!
