Buying scissors, i need scissors to open the hard plastic covering them. 

Buying eye pencils, I destroy the pencil to get the plastic off.

Buying almost anything i need a knife or scissors to cut open the packaging of the products.  

It's not like i buy gold that has to be so protected,  and the packaging costs more,  sometimes wrapped in cellophane then in a box, then covered in plastic!  That all costs more and adds to the total cost of the product. 

Surely manufactures can think of a different way to protect a product just once and if it's that's hard plastic, tape a small pair of scissors so i can open it! Better still at the till,  for every product that is covered with this incredible hard plastic,  i want a small pair of scissors given out free.

Come on, surely we can do better than this and cut the cost of packaging the products we buy?
