Plastic packaging is convient, it’s cheap and it’s common. But there is something we aren’t recognizing: the negative effect of it. Plastic is littered everyday all over the nation, and is produced in mass amounts. We don’t often realize that even if we don’t pay for biodegradable packaging now, we will pay for it later when litter takes an even bigger effect on our environment than it already is. Animals are eating this trash and getting seriously sick and sometimes even dying. They are getting tangled up in it and we are responsible. Oceans are a great example of just how terrible we are being to our one and only Earth. We need to take a stand. Stop excess plastic packaging, it’s destroying our planet and it is the only one we have. There is not a back up planet if we make a mistake. Please help me and the planet in this very important cause.
