The veterenary school at the University Nacional de Cajamarca in Peru  has a  horrific history of dog cruelty.

Veterenary students are asked by teachers to bring in stray dogs who will be used for different types of educational practices. These type of practices may involved fracturing the dog’s legs, open cavity surgery without proper anestesia, cutting the jugular and bleeding them to death.

These dogs are snatched from the streets where are  being fed by good-hearted  people and animal welfare groups. They have been previously vaccinated neutered and cared for by  these welfare groups who worked so hard to keep  the stray dog under control.

Dozen of dogs are subject to these cruel practices every year.They are kept in captivity for manydays and each day they may be the subject of a different practice.

The dogs are often left without freshwater or food.

Teachers pressure studentsto bring dogs otherwise they will fail the course

The dogs that survive the cruel procedures are put back in the streets with so many injuries, some recover and others die.

Please sign these petición to shut down these horrific practices on dogs and ask the Vet School of the University of Cajamarca  to look for other alternatives.

La Escuela Veterinaria de la Universidad Nacional de Cajamarca en Perú tiene una historia muy cruel de maltrato de perros.

Los estudiantes de veterinaria son presionados por los docentes para que traigan perros de la calle quienes son usados para diferente tipos de practicas educacionales. Estas prácticas puede involucrar la fractura de las piernas, cirugía de cavidad abierta sin la anestesia apropiada, corte de la yugular y desangrarlos hasta la muerte.

Estos perros son extraídos de las calles donde son alimentados por personas de corazón muy amable y por Asociaciones Animalistas. Ellos han sido previamente vacunados, esterilizados por estas Asociaciones Animalistas quienes trabajan arduamente para mantener la población canina bajo control.

Decenas de perros son sujeto de estas prácticas crueles cada año, son mantenidos en cautiverio por varios días y cada día pueden ser sujeto a diferente tipo de práctica.

Los perros a menudo son dejados sin agua fresca y comida.

Los docentes de la Facultad de Veterinaria presionan a los estudiantes para que traigan perros  para fines de practica de lo contrario fallarán la asignatura tomada.

Los perros que sobreviven estos procedimientos crueles, son retornados a las calles, con heridas en el cuerpo, con miembros amputados,  débiles y enfermos. Algunos se recuperan pero otros mueren de infecciones.

Por favor firma esta petición para cerrar estas prácticas tan crueles en los perros de las calles de Cajamarca y conseguir que la Universidad Nacional de Cajamarca use una alternativa en sus practicas educacionales.
