section 3 of the dress code is incredibly misogynistic and unfair. girls should not be told to cover non sexual parts of their body because “the boys can’t control themselves”. teaching girls from ages 6 or 7 that their body is something to be ashamed of is doing more harm than good. we won’t stop until a change is made, not only for sierra, but all of the musd school district. not one boy will be distracted because a girl is wearing a crop top or shorts. pulling girls out of class to send them home or to the office to change is prioritizing males’ education over females’ education. it’s incredibly unfair and it will change. follow @protestheshsdresscode on instagram for more information
