Bureau of Fire Protection said that there are three causes of fire in the country are electrical connections, lit cigarette butts, and open flames from unattended stoves. According to Bureau of Fire Protection the electrical connections has the highest percentage in causes of fire in the country. Stealing of electrical wires causing of entangled wires can cause explosion or fire and majority this stealing happens in slaughter area. The problem is that what if the electrical wires may explode, the houses near the explosion may affect that it may cause fire to the houses that it may lead to domino effect that the fire will scattered and can cause of death for some people. When the fire occur due to electrical wires explosion near the slaughter area it may causes of destruction of the place and it may cause of death and injury for some.This petition aims to prevent the entangled electrical wires that it can cause explosion or fire and avoid stealing of electrical wires causing a entangled wires. We would like to petition the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) to fix the entangled wires in Quezon city and secure all the cable wires against thief causes entangled cable wires. Manila Electric Company should give full attention in this issue because there’s a possibility that this problem may cause loss of lives. There a certain law about this power lines who are stealing electrical wires and the law is Republic Act No. 7832. Actions to be taken:

• Meralco should be systemized when connecting cable wires in the electrical post.

•  Meralco should remove the wires that who don’t have connections because of some workers of Meralco after they disconnect the particular electric wire they only just leave the wire hanging into the connected wires that it may lead to entangled wires.

• The agency should use exact size of binder clips that it will be more organized of the cable wires.

• For the places that are prone to the fire the Meralco should use of Foam pipe insulation that it may avoid the overheated wires that it may lead to explosion.

• Meralco should execute a plan for rehabilitation for cable wires and electrical post to systemized the wires every barangay in Quezon city also nationwide and to remove the unnecessary cable wires without connections.

• Meralco should put CCTV’s in the electrical post that may secure the cable wires and prevent stealing of cable wires.
