Good Planning Commission Meeting!!

The Planning Commission (PC) Meeting was packed last night with Paragon/Gelson's supporters who spoke passionately about how wonderful Gelson's is with comments like, "we need one desperately", or, "it's a matter of life or death" - very dramatic!! Concerned citizens spoke objectively about Safety, Traffic, Parking and Code variances. The CEQA vs. EIR process was discussed, and it appears the City of MB Staff and Paragon have not followed the CEQA process properly. The PC plans to meet with the City of MB Staff to discuss the process they followed, and they are welcoming more public input. We encourage everyone to have the PC request an EIR to provide better scrutiny and analysis of all the Significant Impacts this project will have on our Community, and to engage the Public more, the PC email is - PlanningCommission@citymb.info
