We have been taught this thing that after marriage a girl has to leave her parents and go to her in-laws;this is treated as prideful but if a son-in-law joins his in-laws after marriage he is nearly out-casted. Isn't this gender bias? Why should a girl has to change her identity and her family? Why can't a boy do the same? I demand a law where a boy too should carry out the duties for his in-laws as a part of their family. A girl should have the right to be part of her family and continue rendering her duties as a daughter. She should not be forced to break ties with her family. Everything that is expected out of a newly wed bride and is considered mandatory for her, should be made mandatory for the guy as well.
