I currently work as a Registered Emergency Room Nurse for large chain of AZ Hospitals. I know from first hand experience how deadly and devastating CoVid 19 can be. 
By lowering the likelihood of one person effecting another, the impact is exponential, so even a small reduction in those odds results in a huge decrease in deaths. Therefore, I believe AZ should adopt the requirement of Mandatory facial masks in public to block the transmission at its source. Research shows even a cloth mask dramatically reduces the number of virus particles emitted from our mouths. This reduction provides 2 huge benefits. Fewer virus particles means less people are exposed to the infection, and if they are infected, the lower viral load Exposure may give them a better chance of a mild disease, rather than a severe case or possibly death. Many people have no awareness of the risk they pose to others, because they don’t feel sick themselves. We are not helpless against this disease, while waiting on medicines and vaccines ordinary people can make a difference. Along with keeping social distancing when
possible, maintaining good hand hygiene and all of us wearing a mask in public we can help slow this disease and save lives. It might just be your own.
