We the Save Our Children Army are pushing for legislation to be put into place for a formation into law. We currently are aware of the number of Social Workers that have been threatened attacked during their line of duty. There has been in the last decade serious harm to social workers, there has been claims of assault on vulnerable clients. There has been attacks on residents of care homes of all types (mental health, Retirement, Children’s homes) There has also been many complaints of parents that are involved with children s services have claimed on many occasions that children services have lied in reports. We believe there is a need massively for transparency of a need too protect all parties involved during any working with the vulnerable and also to protect social workers from any harm whilst on duty.

We would like to remind the good people we currently live in a world now that there are recording cameras everywhere. People walk with them as devices such as phones laptops and tablets. There also is doorbell cameras on most houses. Big brother has become the norm. Then we can speak about the retail sector and the uses of cctv body cameras on staff and security. Traffic wardens have body cameras too. So do police ambulance and fire service and also bailiffs. 

So the reality is body cameras have become the norm. We believe due to the facts of what have all ready been stated there is a massive need for mandatory body cameras to protect all involved.
