I am immensely grateful to all the people who have signed and supported this petition

As much a health hazard microplastics are to us, the plastic waste created by our distressingly rife use of plastics adversely affect other life forms and even people who are least responsible for creating it in the first place

We need to reduce our Demand and Dependency on Plastics.

To truly #TurnOffThePlasticTap, major plastic polluters such as CocaCola and Nestle should invest in refill and reuse systems rather than cheap plastics that come at a great cost to our Environment.

Fossil fuel Industry shouldn't be exploiting World's addiction to plastics, trying to profit while smothering our Planet with more plastics.

Till then, we as consumers could use our purchasing power to choose products in glass or other sustainable packaging, shun items excessively / unnecessarily wrapped in plastics, or at the least minimize the usage of plastics to the extent it is pragmatic depending on the individual.

It'll be impactful if millions of people make some changes to their lives to be more eco-friendly rather than just a few leading a perfect, sustainable life.

I believe there are more people on this Planet who wouldn't continue with their convenience-minded, throw-away lifestyle if they knew to some extent about how plastics are harming us & our planet.

Why else would Companies, painstakingly come up with ways to greenwash, considering most products marketed as "Green" are Greenwashed? Isn't it to appeal to the eco-consciousness of people and their desire to live a healthy, sustainable life.

P.S. GreenPeace Hungary recently created a short video on YouTube about Plastics Warnings; very similar to my asks in my petition except that their images / warnings contain more graphic. I have now replaced my original image on this petition with that video.. :-)
