The Issue

Fireworks, while a popular form of celebration, have been proven to cause significant distress and harm to animals. The loud noises they produce can lead to severe anxiety and fear in pets, wildlife, and livestock. According to the RSPCA, 45% of dogs in the UK show signs of fear when they hear fireworks. This is not just an issue for domestic animals; wildlife such as birds often flee their nests in panic, leading to injury or death.

By mandating the use of low-noise fireworks we can still enjoy these spectacular displays without causing unnecessary suffering to our animal companions and local wildlife. It's time we consider their welfare too.

Please sign this petition urging lawmakers to require all fireworks be low-noise and mandated for the sake of our animals' well-being.
