I am compelled to raise my voice because of a critical concern - the fact that Pierre Poilievre, the current leader of the Conservative Party, has yet to undertake adequate security clearance. This deeply personal issue is rooted in my belief: no one should be allowed to run our Country without security clearance. The safety and security of our nation's citizens is paramount, and Pierre Poilievre's reluctance to secure clearance blurs this focus.

There's a requirement across key government positions worldwide to obtain security clearance. In the US, all presidential candidates undergo security Clearance (Source: US Department of State). This requirement is crucial to ensure that those governing us don't pose a risk to national security. Why then is it permissible for our Party leader to evade this vital step?

This petition calls for the enforcement of this necessary requirement. Pierre Poilievre must either submit himself for security clearance or step down as the Conservative Party leader.
