I am an ordinary citizen, tired of watching my money lose its value while the cost of living continues to rise. I can't afford not to budget my gas anymore and have been forced to limit my travels and spending from what was normal. This is a reality for many Americans, not just me. Our national debt has skyrocketed over the years due to irresponsible spending by our government. As of 2021, the U.S national debt stands at a staggering $28 trillion (source: U.S Treasury). The debt is currently $33 Trillion and counting as of November 2023. This unsustainable fiscal path threatens our economy and future generations.

We need immediate action from our leaders. We urge them to implement policies that promote responsible spending and work towards reducing our national debt. It's time for us as a nation to live within our means and ensure a prosperous future for all citizens.

This matter should be settled by a vote, by US citizens, at the ballot box. We've given our elected officials a chance to make it right on their own for too long. They will not be responsible with the money the government TAKES from we the people.  I propose that all elected government officials do not get paid unless their pay comes by means of ensuring the national debt goes down and does not gain interest by the amount that it costs to fund their salary until their is no debt. If the debt should rise, their shall be no salary for our elected officials. We vote for representatives to be responsible and not spend more than they take from us. If they can't be fiscally responsible they will receive no pay, or recieve pay directly relational to the amount the national debt goes down including interest. 

Furthermore, we will vote on the matter that  elected officials and workers of shall not partake in any insider trading.  Picking winners and losers based on their personal investments in the business world, and investing in stocks or selling them before they crash to enrich themselves at the expense of we the people is a betrayal of our trust. Selling out our country to the highest bidder for self enrichment is another problem that we've witnessed by our politicians in the last few years. Special interests for personal gain must be shutdown.
