As someone who still works part-time because I have not yet had the opportunity to secure a full-time job, I believe there should be a weekly minimum for part-time employees. When I started my current job, I was initially working 20 hours a week, but now almost none due to corporate greed. This inconsistency is unfair and unsustainable. And unethical to say the very least. 

Federal law should require a minimum of 12 to 15 hours per week for all part-time employees and set a maximum of 18 to 25 hours per week. This change would provide much-needed stability for workers like me and many college students who rely on part-time jobs to pay for supplies and tuition.
