Nowadays, most clothing is made from plastic. Unbeknownst to many, washing these plastics-laden clothes releases microplastics into the environment, which eventually end up inside humans and other living organisms. This is an issue we can tackle with knowledge and choices - but we need transparency about what we're choosing in our clothing.

A possible solution lies in using natural fibres instead. However, to make informed decisions, consumers need to be aware of the material content of the clothes they purchase. It is therefore essential to advocate for a law that makes it obligatory for labels, including those on second-hand clothes, to display detailed information about their material composition.
