Mandate Air Quality Testing for Mold Spores in Trumbauersville Elementary School

Mandate Air Quality Testing for Mold Spores in Trumbauersville Elementary School
The Issue
My story, and that of many others in Trumbauersville, Pennsylvania, is disturbing and disheartening. Our children attend Trumbauersville Elementary School, a place where they should be safe. However, the reality appears very different. My son, along with many others, has become severely ill with unexplainable coughs, congestion, fatigue, and rashes only during the time attending this school. As a mother, my heart sinks, seeing my child suffer, especially when I too experience coughing and wheezing after visiting the school for functions. Alas, we're not alone. Many of us parents report similar, unexplainable respiratory symptoms tied to the school environment.
We fear that the school is infested with mold spores, a detrimental environmental biotoxin affecting indoor air quality. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) warns that long-term exposure to mold can cause respiratory issues and allergic reactions like sneezing, redness of the skin, and wheezing, similar to what we have been experiencing.
Therefore, we implore Trumbauersville borough authorities and school officials to prioritize our children's health and conduct an immediate, comprehensive air quality testing throughout Trumbauersville Elementary School for mold spores. The results should then guide an effective remediation plan if required.
Help protect our children and improve the air they breathe daily in school. Please, sign this petition to mandate air quality testing in Trumbauersville Elementary School now.
