Manchester City Council to register all Council Woodland on the Land Register

Manchester City Council to register all Council Woodland on the Land Register
The Issue
Boggart Hole Clough’s Ancient Semi-Natural Woodland in the heart of Blackley is described by Natural England as “irreplaceable” & of “prime ecological & landscape importance,” and is reported by ecologists as being in an “unfavourable condition”.
Will you, therefore, urge MCC to register, on the Rural Land Register, all woodland owned by MCC so that the Clough’s woodland can receive the conservation management urgently needed to restore it to a favourable condition.
This would have the significant additional benefit of potentially enabling all MCC’s woodland to be fully & properly conserved so anyone living in the Manchester area and their future generations would benefit.
Please take a minute to sign for this extremely important cause.
