Councillor Bernard Priest promised the residents of the Hamerton Road Towerblocks - Humphries, Roach, Vauxhall and Mossbrook to a consultation with regard to the retro fitting of sprinklers into their homes.

Currently Northwards Housing, the ALMO landlords of the blocks are refusing to hold a Public Meeting even though they are aware tenants desperately want one.

There is currently much confusion, mis-information and a lack of communication around an extremely important development that will intrude and affect many peoples lives and homes.

The majority of tenants and residents have not received the Sprinklers Leaflet issued explaining what is happening.

A Public Meeting would allow tenants and residents to listen to information, importantly be listened to and voice any concerns they may have.
