Urban sprawl wreaks havoc on the natural land, ecosystem and community. The loss of agricultural land has major impacts on biodiversity with the loss of valuable biotopes for many animals, and particularly birds. The erosion of our land, soil 

Some benefits of country living include:

Cleaner Air, The further out into the country you get, the more your air quality improves. Researchers have a few ideas for why this might be, including less pollution, greater abundance of trees and grass.

Better psychological health. Your brain actually functions differently in the country. Living in an urban environment over-stimulates two key, and potentially harmful, regions of the brain: the areas that regulate emotion and anxiety.

Easy access to organic food. Our nearest supermarket might be twenty-thirty minutes away from us. But we have multiple farms, all within a ten minute drive, where we can buy fresh eggs, fruits, and veggies right from the source. Having our own land allows us to grow and produce our own fruits and vegetables as well.
