Steve Searles is a national treasure, a champion for bears and American wildlife, and he is an American hero. He has made millions of dollars for the Mammoth community in tourism dollars.

He keeps the bears of Mammoth Lakes safe by championing the "Don't Feed Our Bears" campaign and by training hundreds of bears to avoid humans through aversive conditioning. He has helped bears and people coexist in Mammoth. He has furthermore popularized Mammoth through numerous documentaries about Mammoth bears, and brought new people to Mammoth and expanded the community with more and more bear loving people. 

Without him, bears will rampage Mammoth, endangering our community and endangering the bears.
