You are earnestly requested for consideration the need for starting the Masters degree course (M.Sc.) on subject heads "Nutrition and Dietetics",under the Burdwan University.
Under this particular University, around 9 colleges (approximately 230 seats), Nutritional science had been included for B.Sc. Degree course for a long period of time. But for further study on this subject, there is no availability of such colleges under BU, only option except switching the University, and another is alteration the subject for continuing our post graduation study.
Some other consequences in running situation that stands for barrier, described as follows -
* Sudden pandemic condition, makes us frightened for outing from our district.
Disaster like super cyclone "Amphan" makes the situation more worsen.
That kind of calamities result a tremendous tragic over here,where most of the students are facing financial problems along with mental illness, depression, disturbed mind for future studies.
The economic crisis is notable thing worldwide now, when we will be benefited by this.   
* Before a while we came to know from newspaper, that the Burdwan University is going to set up masters degree courses on 3 subjects ( physiology, psychology, nutrition) from running year. Above them, on physiology, the masters degree course already has been opened in Hooghly Mohsin College.
               So after considering the above fact, we are praying to the authority to start the M.Sc. on "Nutrition and Dietetics" under the University of Burdwan, in the current academic session 2020 - 21.
