Mamata Banerjee must Resign for Calm and Harmony in West Bengal

Mamata Banerjee must Resign for Calm and Harmony in West Bengal
The Issue
I write this petition as an Indian Hindu standing up for peace and safety for my fellow Hindus in West Bengal, India. Our state and its harmony are currently under great threat. West Bengal has unfortunately witnessed numerous acts of violence and hostility against the Hindu community, which is deeply troubling.
Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, while she has held office, has been criticized for the lack of consistent and effective measures to curb these violent incidents. The gravity of the situation is such that it has led to frequent comparisons of West Bengal with the strife-ridden region of Kashmir.
The distressful situation we Hindus are experiencing right now is raising poignant questions about our safety, peace, and rights. That's why we are calling for Mamta Banerjee's resignation, hoping that presidential rule can restore tranquillity and control over the frequent acts of violence.
In India, the President has the power to proclaim the state of emergency in a region (Article 352, Constitution of India), which is the current need of West Bengal to end the antagonistic incidents.
Let us stand in solidarity to ensure that West Bengal does not succumb to violence, ensuring that every citizen, regardless of their faith, feels safe and protected. Please sign this petition and let our collective voice be heard demanding Mamata Banerjee's resignation for the peace and prosperity of West Bengal.
