We the people of Nagrakata want street lights. Since time Immemorable the roads of Nagrakata are in darkness.

We are being devoid of the street lights. In an area with so close proximity to forest and river and tea gardens. Street light is an absolute necessity for us. Animals roam freely on the roads of Nagrakata and due to lack of proper light, accidents occur causing irreparable damage to both humans and animals. Besides this street lights should be there for people to live safely.

Area around Nagrakata like Malbazar have lights like some festivals but Nagrakata doesn't have basic light for people to walk. Areas where there are less of shops and offices are the most affected. Government should see that light which should be right of people should be provided. Government should focus on the villages as much as cities and basic facilities to be provided.

I also urge people to be aware and raise their voice for the basic facilities which they should get and if they don't get it bring the issue into the notice of people who are concerned so that it can be provided to us. I urge everyone to help us gain a better, brighter future and encourage us to raise voice for the basics.
