AILM stands for animals in labs movement. AILM is a movement based in Vancouver BC, made by secondary school students to help end cosmetic and product animal testing on a global level.

At AILM we believe in ending animal testing for cosmetics and other unnecessary products to ensure a future fair for all living things. We know that certain medicines and antibiotics need to be tested on animals for the sake of saving lives, but testing products such as cosmetics and clothing on animals is just inhumane. 

Cruelty-free cosmetics is fast becoming a global trend, with popular companies having already decreed comparable testing, and several others in the line, including the United States. It’s time for everyone to do their part and join with other progressive nations on the right side of history! 

People need to invest more research, more money, and more time into finding alternative solutions to animal testing. We believe that there has to be a better way, and how that change will come starts in everyday lives.
