Dear Justice Supporter
This has been an intense but exhilarating week for the National Justice Project. In two weeks our team is back in court again taking on Peter Dutton. We are fighting for a refugee in PNG who is vulnerable because he has dwarfism- barely a metre high! It's thanks to all of you, we had funding to take on this battle.
We have also dealt with threats from a particular conservative newspaper group over our Copwatch project. Copwatch has been a long time coming, and thanks to all of you supporting our National Justice Project movement, it is becoming a reality - with the money raised so far we are able to reach 7 more Aboriginal communities!

Did you hear Des Jones on ABC radio today? Des is a Leader of Aboriginal organisation Murdi Paaki - he announced 16 Aboriginal communities in NSW's central west will put their hand up for Copwatch. Yes that’s right - 16!!! He said:
"The community shouldn't be the ones monitoring the police behaviour, but we have to because of ongoing abuse"
These Aboriginal communities want to be empowered by legal and media training so they can make a stand for themselves with evidence, and together we are making this happen. We are half way......!!

If just 500 of us chipped in $20 we would be able to reach 5 new communities asking for this training.
Thanks you and thank you again
Will update you all soon
