Veterinary Nursing in Australia is an unrecognised profession. Training of Veterinary Nurses is not regulated in Australia and results in people having the same qualification with very varying skills. Furthermore you do not have to study to call yourself a Veterinary Nurse. Please voice your opinion on what you would want for the care of your animals. Support Veterinary Nurses who have studied, and help the government realise we need to be registered just like human nurses.
