Adding a goods & services tax (GST) will substantially increase grocery bills. Many families are already struggling to afford fresh fruit & vegetables, hence, we implore this government (and any successive government) to avoid adding a tax to fresh, healthy food. This tax will hurt farmers, lead more families towards cheaper, unhealthy food and increase the rate of diabetes and heart disease.
