In 2007, the government of Malaysia decided to gazette (preserve) the Bukit Kiara in Kuala Lumpur as a green lung, to protect it from overdevelopment and secure its future. But , since then, nothing has been done and new condominium developments continue to spring up, destroying the forests.

We would like to show the government that the people of Mont Kiara and Kuala Lumpur care about the future of the country's rainforests and want to preserve them for future generations to enjoy.
