Malaysia Covid-19 cases has been rampantly increased on daily basis. The death tally has been increased daily with today’s (20/5/2021) number reaching 59 people, highest ever recorded. The unclear and flip-flop direction and strategy from Government of Malaysia is seen not helping to curb this pandemic effectively. 

Data will be a good mechanism to make a better decision. A transparent data sharing mechanism will be a good strongpoint to get to the bottom of the problem. Public especially data practitioners has been urging the government to provide a sharing mechanism of the granularity of Covid-19 data (anonymous data) to better help understand and finding correlation between cases, clusters and even perform forecasting of the next outbreak. Value-able anonymous data from MySejahtera and MOH can be a good start for sharing, so that a lot of  analytics effort could start to work, in a way that could help Government to make a better policy and decisions.
