Most people might not know but declawing your cat is just like cutting off your finger from the last knuckle to the tip, it is cruel, painful and causes the cats lifestyle to be affected.  eventually as the cat gets older it won't be able to use the litter box due to the Phantom pains it has in the parts of its fingers that no longer exist, as it is already difficult for them to use the litter box being declawed unless you have special litter. even then it still makes it difficult and some cats still decide to use the restroom outside of the box on a soft surface. it prevents them from being able to play the way that they are supposed to. declawing cats is animal abuse and that's one of the only ways they have to defend themselves when being attacked by other animals. cats mouths are very small and they barely are able to defend themselves with only their teeth especially against a large dog. please help stop the declawing of cats and start educating people about it instead and how its abuse and how there are safe and easy alternatives like trimming your cat's nails and putting nail caps on. If we come together we can prevent the declawing of cats in Texas and hopefully one day around the world so that way cats can have better lives and not be abused thank you for your support
