As many as you know we started this journey wanting to make a difference. We experienced something that no family should ever go through but yet knew we needed to help others. We decided that Clare’s Law needed to be looked at and reworked. We wanted a more straightforward and consistent process between different counties to help someone’s journey to getting themselves out of such a horrible situation. Thank you to every single one of you that have taken their time to sign our petition. YOU have helped make this update and a difference to anyone who needs to use this form. Home Office have made the changes so family members can be given the ‘right to ask’ information of their loved one’s partner and the form has been simplified and all police forces over England and Wales will be using the same form for consistency. We are still going to be working in the background to make sure that this is still working for everyone and make sure the form is being used correctly. We are so proud of our achievements. We are just two people trying to make a difference! This isn’t it for us. We have something very exciting planned for next year so please keep your eyes peeled!
