Make VA Fund Service Dogs for Veterans

Make VA Fund Service Dogs for Veterans

The Issue

Each day, 22 veterans commit suicide while 4,000 dogs will be put to sleep in shelters all over the country. Numerous organizations are now training and pairing dogs with veterans with both mental and physical scars, and seeing significant benefits and improvements in their lives. The VA refuses to help veterans pay for these dogs due to "lack of significant evidence" that dogs do in fact help veterans with PTSD and anxiety. Please sign this petition to support our veterans, save dogs all over the country, and to push the VA to support this idea and the many programs already spearheading this.
