Make USPS Answer for 4,000 Chicks Deaths in Locked Truck

Make USPS Answer for 4,000 Chicks Deaths in Locked Truck
The Issue
Earlier this month, 14,000 live baby birds were left in a United States Postal Service truck for days. By the time the truck was opened, 4,000 chicks were already dead. The remaining 10,000 had been trapped without food, water, or temperature control.
These birds were part of a legal shipment from a Pennsylvania hatchery, intended for farms across the country. Instead, they were forgotten and abandoned. A local animal shelter in Delaware, unprepared for this scale of crisis, has been working around the clock to care for the survivors. Meanwhile, USPS has yet to give the public a clear explanation or take real accountability.
This is not a one-time error. This is systemic neglect. The Postal Service is entrusted with the transport of live animals under strict federal guidelines. When that trust is broken, living beings suffer and die.
We demand a full investigation into this incident, public transparency about what went wrong, and immediate reforms to ensure this never happens again. USPS must take responsibility for what happened and commit to stronger oversight of all live animal shipments.
Sign this petition to demand that USPS face the consequences of this massive failure. 4,000 lives were lost. There must be accountability.
