On July 11th, 2022, the VTuber Agency Hololive announced that a member of it's English branch, Tsukumo Sana, would be "graduating" (a colloquial term for retiring) at the end of July. In cases such as this, Hololive's Parent Company, Cover Corporation, usually Privates the Talent's Youtube Channel and removes information about them from their website(s). There was, however, one exception; another Talent, Kiryu Coco, graduated in July of 2021, but instead of being removed, was given her own category of "Alum" on Cover's website, and her Channel remains watchable to this day.

I see no reason Sana cannot be memorialized in such a manner; her influence on Hololive Fans (especially her own sub-group, the "Sanallites") and fellow members of Hololive is impossible to forget. Her friendly, cheerful personality and quirky sense of creativity are, quite fittingly, like a Sun, beaming warm and brilliant upon all who witness it. Whether Cover continues to acknowledge her time with them or not, Sana will never leave the hearts and minds of those she touched.

Perhaps Cover is already planning to do this, it's hard to tell since Coco was the last Talent to leave the company of her own volition, but I'd rather not wait for them to erase Sana to realize we should have asked them not to. There's also the possibility that Sana prefers to have her content removed, in which case I will continue to respect her decisions. In any case, this group effort to see her commemorated is yet another way for Sanallites to express what she means to us.
