Dear supporters,
I wanted to thank you again for standing with me in this campaign. At times I’ve felt defeated — signatures slow down, posts get deleted, unions don’t pick it up — but your support has kept me going.
This week, I finally had a breakthrough: my MP, Will Forster, has agreed to meet me in person at his next surgery to discuss our campaign. It’s only a short 15-minute slot, but it’s a huge step forward.
I’ll be taking with me:
Evidence of how much nurses and other shift workers pay every month (many of us £300–£500, some even more).
Your signatures and comments, proving this is not just “my” struggle.
A clear call for fairness: one ticket should cover one shift, day or night.
Please, if you haven’t already, share the petition again today. And if you’re a shift worker, email your own MP to tell them what these costs mean for you. Every extra push helps me carry your voices into Parliament.
