I’ve just posted a short video to explain what this campaign is really about. Please take a moment to watch it:

Some journalists have spoken to representatives of the rail industry, and the response is worrying: they say that all the “improvements” they planned are already implemented — for example, contactless payments, which offer no real benefit to us, just save a few seconds at the barrier.

They also admitted there are no plans now or in future to make day tickets last 24 hours. That means those of us doing night shifts are expected to pay double, or stay in unsafe, unreliable places overnight, just to avoid two fares. That’s not a system built for care workers — it’s a system built for profit.

I made this reel despite how uncomfortable I felt stepping in front of the camera. My accent, my appearance, the current climate of anti-immigration rhetoric — none of that stopped me, because I know this matters.

🚨 This campaign isn’t about me. It’s about all of us who work nights and weekends — and need one small change to make our lives a bit more bearable.

📣 Please share my reel, sign, and help me make this visible.
