I am a pet owner, and my two dogs have been really scared due to the loud bangs caused by fireworks, two houses down from me let off fireworks - you can imagine how loud that was being so close to my home. This is not an isolated incident; countless pets, wild animals and livestock across our nation share this fear.

The solution is simple: make it illegal for fireworks to be sold to the public and restrict their use solely to organised events. This would also ensure safety measures are adhered to while still allowing people to enjoy these spectacular displays.
