There’s roughly 8.34 Million people who live in NYC and the closest National Park is Virginia’s Shenandoah National Park. That’s a 5-to-6 hour drive if you’re booking it and we all know how long it can take to even get out of the city. 

The people of New York City deserve better. They deserve more protected green spaces. They deserve their own National Park.
