Council members are considering trying to satisfy the wealthy residents who want to take your rights away!

Two separate motions - one by Inga Selders and one by Dave Robinson, Greg Shelton, and Terrence Gallagher - are coming before council on Monday. These motions promote the goals of the small wealthy group of residents who tried to take away your rights and tell you how to live in petitions earlier this year.

These motions are being presented as small technical adjustments. Instead, they send the signal that council will not address ways to protect current and future residents rights and options, including keeping housing attainable. The motions tell residents that council is willing to follow the lead of those who misinform others and threaten your rights.

WE MUST FIGHT BACK and tell council members that passing measures to satisfy those who are trying to limit your rights is UNACCEPTABLE. Write to council RIGHT NOW and tell them that deprioritizing your rights and favoring those who want to take them away WILL NOT STAND. Tell them to reject the motions at councilmembers@pvkansas.com.
