Petition presented to Worcestershire County Coucnil

Today we presented the petition to Worcestershire Council, with over 400 signatures collected from Change.org and in person. 

The Council's policy is that road speed limits will only be reviewed if there are significant changes to the nature of the road. Since the last county wide road speed reviews in 2009-2012, the number of houses on this stretch of the road has increased by over 50%, and is built up now on both sides. It appears that we meet this criteria.

Martin Allen has also been working away hard in the background to help get the speed limit changed, and it appears that the public support for the change and his hard work might be making headway! 

Let's hope that this momentum continues.
