Make the IWC regulate the hunting of small cetaceans like dolphins

The Issue

Dolphins and other cetaceans are intelligent, sentient beings that play crucial roles in maintaining marine biodiversity. Despite this, they are frequently subjected to commercial capture and sale, often for entertainment purposes. This practice not only disrupts their natural behavior but also threatens their survival. According to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation organization, over 3,000 dolphins are held in captivity worldwide (WDC). This exploitation is ethically indefensible and ecologically damaging. We urge legislative bodies globally to enact laws prohibiting the commercial capture and sale of dolphins and other cetaceans. By doing so, we can protect these magnificent creatures from harm while preserving our oceans' health for future generations. Please sign this petition to stand against such harmful practices towards marine life.
