After blowing a huge lead and losing his seat in the recent election, the Conservative Party of Canada and Pierre Pollievre expect Canadian taxpayers to foot the bill for a by-election where he is likely to take a seat from someone else who was elected fairly.

Why should taxpayers ever have to pay for such a thing, regardless of party? We should not. If the CPC wants to replace their own sitting MP through whatever mechanism, they should bear the costs. Please sign this petition and let the CPC know what you think of this scheme.
