Make it look good then people will stop complaining, episode VII used more CGI than any of the prequels but it gets none of the bs that the prequels get, because as much as those movies are a disgrace, visually they are stunning when compared to the rest of the franchise, especially The Last Jedi. Give the prequels (and potentially the ot) those special effects and maybe the boomers will start taking it seriously. Hell if this fails I don't really care, this was just a thought I had in the middle of the night after I woke up and saw ROTS playing and thought damn, imagine how cool this would be with up to date CGI...
